Successful Mothers Group Meeting: Creativity & Conversation

Oct 5, 2018 |

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Toronto hosted their first meeting of their Catholic Mothers’ Group this year!

The Mothers Group Core team, Alison D’Souza and Jenny McGrath put together a well-planned morning to give moms space to share in fellowship and feel loved and supported in their vocations as wives and mothers.

Coffee and snacks were followed by an opening prayer and an icebreaker activity designed to stimulate conversation on gradually deeper levels between moms.

Following this Elizabeth Tan, guest speaker and artist, gave a moving presentation on Juggling Multiple Demands! Moms today are very busy, and Elizabeth was able to provide us with dozens of useful tips! Elizabeth then led the moms in a painting exercise! Lots of fun was had by all. The conversation, the painting and creativity drew out the best in all of us! Conversation flowed throughout this lovely morning Catholic Moms Group with moms sharing stories, wisdom, and lots of laughter!
