Dr. Christine Schintgen currently serves as President of Our Lady Seat of Wisdom College [www.seatofwisdom.ca] in Barry’s Bay, Ontario. She grew up in Ottawa and studied at Carleton University, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, and at the University of Oxford, where she gained a Master’s and a  doctorate in Victorian Literature. She joined Our Lady Seat of Wisdom College as a literature professor in 2003, and met her future husband, Michael, who came to teach philosophy there in the same year. They live in Barry’s Bay with their three children.
